Gloomy Portrait Farm - April 2016

And onto the next location.

Another house I wanted to see for quite a long time, I remember the first thread of this place and it was love at first sight. So moving on, here's my visit. Once I arrived, I was relieved to find there was no car parked at the house opposite, so I got out and started exploring. Once I was inside, I was surprised at how intact the house is. I loved the portrait, piano and the sewing machine. The doors upstairs kept on slamming in the wind to add to the atmosphere. I don't know very obvious history here, the last owner may have been the child of the woman on the portrait, and they owned this house their whole lives, before going derelict around the late 70's? Anyway, here are the pictures.

Yeah, it was brilliant. I've also uncovered a few potentials as I was going past, they'll be visited in the near future.

Ah yeah there is quite a few around the area Dauntless. I hope you had time to visit the Love Shack - it's always been one of my favourites along with this place

I really like how you've captured this house. As others have said, your pictures are really clear. The house is quite deceptive, as it doesn't look too promising from the outside.

Excellent set bud - that picture looking up the stairs to that closed door i loved - very spooky - almost expect a clown sitting in a chair with a knife in his hand lol.

wow since my visit last year, alot has changed, but like others have said, crisp an clear images dude an that piano shot is ace!
