Hi Guys,
First post and had to do it now as I fear it shall soon be demolished.
This is Hall Farm. Derelict for the best part of 30 years.
Stumbled upon it by accident whilst following the route of a new road layout which passes by whilst using G-Earth. Little known location for many it seems, even though it is in plain sight.
The following images were taken on my third visit to the location prior to construction work for the previously mentioned road. Only last week however, I went past to see much of the surrounding area had been fully flattened.
Little more is known I'm afraid. The surrounding land is owned by a London based developer, however now in the hands of the local authority under Compulsory Purchase

Enjoy.

Nice....

I recognise the bell in picture #5 :)

Sealed tight back in 2010 and I've totally forgot about it until now...

Cheers, nice snaps.

Some really fantastic photos there bud - The one thing i found really intresting was the picture of the truss thats obviously rotted and fallen to the floor but the roof was still intact - then you look at the next photo and see why - noggins have been staggered throughout the roof between all the purlins so you have a tight rigid structure even thou a main truss has failed.
Its very rare to see such quality like that put in to a roof.
Thanks for sharing.
p.s - for a first post excellent - well done you.

Cheers for the warm welcome guys and compliments.
Ironically I majorly failed when bracketing the shots.. took from -2.5 + +2.5 but missed the 0EV.. It was very early so blame it on stupidity. Fortunately managed to selvage usable pics and in the nic of time.
Hoping to make another visit to see what remains soon.
Having researched further. The forthcoming roads 'corridor' shall indeed flatten the whole lot. Such a pitty.

A couple of additional things I forgot to mention. In those pics within the farm house. You can see a bath hanging top left as with several very large gas canisters in the lower left of the room. Never spotted them myself until I went through the pics.. dodgy
