I came across this one by chance late last year. It's a five bedroomed detached cottage in 4 acres with offices and stables. All of which are in a state of neglect and in need or repair. It's not clear how long ago it was inhabited but the calendar states 2003 in one of the pictures. The property is currently for sale at £650,000 (out of my price range)which I found when trying to do some research. I couldn't actually get inside the house so those shots are through a broken window of the 70's bath. The garage was open and as you can see there is some odd looking pieces of machinery in there.

Very nice shots but the asking price is way beyond me as its going to need a lot of renovation and tidying up so whoever buys it will have to fork out more money to get it up to standard.

There's nothing odd about a lathe or drill... :) Once common items in residential garages. When men were men. ;)

A major requirement I would say - still have a 4 1/2" lathe down the cellar. Sorry to be an old 'know it all', but that big piece of kit looks like a very specialised surface grinder or a horizontal mill with a grinding head attached. Either way I wish I had had one in my 'shed' a few years back. The small machine is somewhat of a puzzle as part of the head appears to be missing - as you say a drilling machine or perhaps a mill.
