This weekend took me to this part of East Anglia, I had a cottage & an old school to visit which was too overgrown to even try last summer. The cottage is still completely overgrown, but the school has been cleared out recently.
So here's the school. It was a very basic building, with just two classrooms, two playgrounds and a little outhouse at the back. It closed down in the 1960's and was simply left abandoned afterwards. During the second world war, The village Home Guard made the school their HQ and used a ladder to reach the roof space where they occasionally slept. There is plenty of natural decay inside, a few bikes & an intact fireplace. The roof has seen better days.
