Lullaby house

Visited last year with a non member.

The place has been empty for a long time with most of the furniture of any use. Must have had a wake in there as there are still lots of bottles of alcohol, half finished dotted around the house.

The back corner is falling away, where the stairs are, but the roof is still intact.

The building is a listed building, as it is shown on the 1630 map of the area.

Nice drive in the middle of know where and a good uphill walk up a farm track, no sign of the farmer on this visit.

You've made the house look lovely, thanks for posting.

Nicely recorded. You say that there were many empty bottles of booze, I think the amount of jackets exceeded the empty bottles. He liked his jackets. No female items so he must have lived on his own and passed away with no relatives to take over.

Was the old farm building and a lot of the bottles were not empty, there was a nice sherry smell to the wine but the spirits still smelt good. Didn't try any though ! No sign of a female yes. Did find out that around 1900 a female Mrs Davies had the house passed down to her.
