Explored this one with Hughie on a fine sunny spring day.
Great to meet you chap
Haven’t been able to explore much this year, as broke my toe over Christmas!
I have also been planning a big project – a roadtrip to remote territories aborad, which has taken up a bit of time. And with other life commitments, I have only recently been able to get out for a few exploring jaunts, but it was great to get back out again.
This was an interesting place, left to rack and ruin.
Later on, went with Frizman to look at a couple of other leads; some fruitful, some not so. Finished the day with a pint, and a take away curry, what more could you ask for on a spontaneous trip out.
The manor was built around 1819, and had a big fire in 1906. The manor was rebuilt & restored. This has been known as the stables or coach house, but is a part of the manor that was not demolished after the fire.
The loo
And finally, came across this in the grounds
thanks for looking
