The Bat House

Well I first visited here with Nakedeye about 2 years ago maybe longer, but sadly some crazy welsh woman spotted us walking about and insisted we left, despite only on a public walkway we left but returned an so did she.
Anyway fast forward a few years and I was in the area well 10minutes odd away after some trial walking with the misses an her family, an sure enough I fancied another look.
Well this time no crazy welsh woman, peaceful but it was getting dark, so lighting up the place was a must, something I rather enjoy nowadays, the place had not changed much since my first visit an other peoples photos, but I know it looks different nowadays.

I love the setting of this house, its slightly on the side of a small hill and a beautiful lake is rather close to it, these types of houses that are left without any photo opportunities are a welcome from staged shots nowadays after some rooting about and a small backstory it seems the house has been left unoccupied for over ten years, with no owner as of present, unless someone has brought the land/house for renovation purposes. I was still rather happy to tick this off my list after the miserable fail and crazy welsh lady from a few years ago.

Originally named "Arre house" when it was "popular" but myself, cunningplan and nakedeye named it bat house due to a few bats taking formal residence.

Anyway on with the shots :D

Thanks for looking everyone, hope you like the moody gloomy shots :) lots more soon, I will get through more of my backlog! :topsy_turvy:

Tell the local Bat Protection Group about your find MB, they are as daft about bats as we are about our obsession, they are of course a bit loopy but the ones I've met have bin decent folk and reciprocated by getting me into places I didn't know about.
Nicely Done MB, Thanks
Ps,
Lighting up bats is a no, no, don't tell em
