    Default Camel Manor

This seems to of kept off the radar nicely so am giving little info on it.
What I can tell u is its stripped bare & was under refurbishment around 3 years ago when the contractor / owner folded.
Its untouched since. Its pretty large with extensive basements & some nice architectural features remaining.
Photos aren't great again we were a bit on our toes in here!

Wow. Great find BG. Let's hope someone else takes it on and it gets finished.

That's a nice house, when its finished. A case of "I've started, so I'll finish", but he hasn't. I noticed in your second shot of the staircase next to the banister are cobwebs. Been a while since doing anything to it.

What I didn't mention is that I got in here & immediately recognised steel beams that I had supplied! These had also got marks on telling me that they were at least 3yrs old, so I have a pretty good indication of when work started / stopped! There was also a digger outside & the grounds had been cleared within the last few weeks!

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
