No history on this Im afraid, its just another derp farm the likes of which we have many around Northants,
Strangely Iv known about this for years but never bothered having a look, probably because these are most often the same but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
Nothing here really & the place is a structural wreck but has an unusual beauty to it.
Its a shame really it has a prominent position overlooking Pitsford Res & would of once been a desirable property.
The house itself is/was a substantial size, so let me give you a virtual tour.
The first room I entered was presumably a kitchen & pantry.
Back outside there are numerous large barns
A smaller shed contained a washing area with the typical fire water heater & shallow belfast sink
To the east inside the main house lays a large living room, strangely with a horse whip still hanging on the wall.
Looking back out of this room some lovely panelling is still visible on the stairs
Then we come to the west side, what was 2 storey & cellar fireplace on each floor still visible.
And upstairs ... I didnt dare go, but amazing to see a bed still hanging in there & hooks still on the wall.
Thanks For Looking
