Visited with Sonorg, cracking wee explore. Especially if you have a fetish for manequinns, I dont personally, but if you did, you'd love this place.

Info straight from building at risk
Georgian country house built around the nucleus of a simple square keep of c.1500. The tall crowstep-gabled wings to the east and west were added in 1673. The bow-fronted elevation to the south was added in the 18th century and completely encases the original keep on that side. The Scottish Baronial additions to the west date to 1851 and are by David Bryce (1803-1876). The original keep is now only visible along its north front and a little of its east side. It is in coursed and harled rubble and rises through 3 storeys to a crenellated parapet borne on corbels. A gabled garret storey sits above. The first floor string course continues along the 17th century wing to the east.

Everything about this building was grand, curved doors, wooden panels throughout and a lovely staircase.

Love this site...gorgeous house. Fantastic old lead range. I've seen pics of the suicidal mannikin but didn't know about the other one. Strange stuff! :mrgreen:
 
That's an impressive building, I love the curved door!! That's true workmanship! It shouldn't be left to rot away but that can be said about most buildings I suppose. What's with the dolls?
 
I agree, it looks like a great place. But I do have a problem with mannequins. Think I will have nightmares now after looking at that!
 
These are the best places, I'd love to find a wicked old mansion, squat it, and do it up for myself, be the lord of the manor lol.
 
No such chance with this place i'm afraid, Squatters rights differ slightly in Scotland.
 
Another lovely old building that needs new life breathed into it before it is too late - loved the curved doorways too - and the deep window seats. Ciao!
