Ok all these properties are around the swalkstone bridge area of derby and all seem to be vacant posession and some part furnished..

Here`s the first although it seems that it is under renovation at the moment..

A smallish property boasting 4 rooms ! Well technically 4 rooms maybe some walls need to be added to make them a little more cosy..

The living room is very cosy and boasts a modern fire place..

As does the kitchen..

I found the windows the real draw to this place and it even has electricity !!

Ok the second propperty was a bit of a let down for me...A fantastic Stone built house but with two bushes took over both of the two rooms and soooo much nettles it took me ages just to get into the doors to find out that there really is nothing to see in there...But the out is ACE ...i believe the concrete butresses were added later just to try and keep the walls up..

And a genuine plough in the bedroom...

The barn is full of ...erm..something to do woth farming stuff but has very nice beams...

The next propperty is a huge 3 bedroom place and again boasts a shed for you to work in...or on..

Upstairs is again very "open plan"

DSCF0504.jpg

but some rooms even boast floor boards !!

DSCF0507.jpg

As i was leaving this propperty i spotted this just over the field...

DSCF0523.jpg

The nettles around the place were all at least waist height..

DSCF0524.jpg

dscf0524jx1.jpg

And when i got past them i was greated with....brambles..

DSCF0529.jpg

so finally i get to the first room and i think we shall call this "the box room"

DSCF0531.jpg

DSCF0532.jpg

to the side of this the other room downstairs...and yes there were even stairs here !!
Oh this second room i decided to call "the box room" !!

The upstairs although currently furnished with the owners seating and bedding is "cosy" and again fairly open plan..

As many of these old biuldings the beam work was very impressive..

And so to my last propperty and i saved the best till last....

This propperty boasts a lovely arger range type thing and fireplace in one...although it does need some attention i`m sure will agree that it is a lovely centre peice for any dwelling..

The cieling/roof may need a little extra plastering or something

DSCF0489.jpg

but the views are great from both windows and the door...

DSCF0490.jpg

DSCF0492.jpg

DSCF0491.jpg

The door is of rustic nature and boasts a letter box big enough to allow parcel delivery...

DSCF0483.jpg

And the outside of the propperty looks as inviting as the day it was first biult...

Sweet report and some nice pictures. That last place you found with the wall high nettles and brambles looked amazing from the outside.

Nice finds as always fella, i've seen the first one a few times on the way to Asda/Willington Cooling towers, it was inhabited about a year ago.

Nettles and brambles, don't you just love it after one of these explores, later on at night when your legs are 'buzzing'.:jiggy:

urgh that modern fireplace!!! looks like someones tryed to lay a patio on the wall

its a shame someone doesnt rescue that range

Great find youve got there, its like the village that time forgot,Just shows what is out there hidden awaiting discovery.Nice pics and captions:)

they`re still throbbing now mate the next morning....as i had my work clothes on and my trousers were very thin cotton ones !.. Right up to my knees are swollen and all bumpy...But it was worth it !

Oh, those are great! Just love old buildings all grown over...even if it is with nettles and brambles! Enjoyed your sales patter.
That last one is tiny. There's one similar to that a mile or so from me. Just about spotted it because it's on the side of the road but so overgrown that it looks as if it's stuck in a hedge. No means of access at all but I will take my camera next time I go that way and see what I can do.
Good report, Sai. :)
