St.Conans Kirk, Lochawe, Scotland, '07

This is St.Conans Kirk by the shores of Lochawe, Scotland. It is one of the most beautiful churches I have visited and is made all the more interesting by having a bone fragment from Robert the Bruce buried within.







Is this Robert The Bruce...I thought it looked more like James Cosmo!


The bone fragment lies in a casket below this grave of Robert The Bruce.


The stained Glass window reads 'I have fought a good fight, I have Finished'

That is just totally delightful. I love the courtyard and cloister. The reverend looks a bit iffy, though...he's got horns!
