I used to visit this place as a child when there were abandoned buildings there and a very large slag heap. its changed a lot now, since the quarry they have put the abandoned buildings under piles of earth I remember one that to me looked like roman ruins as a child, but it must have just been some beautiful architectural building, I wish I could find old photographs.
Apparently the site houses some Triassic rock now, found a board that has been placed with the information about it on it.
