Go gently guys my first photographed explore and the pics aren't to good.

Tiny bit of history.

Location is right at the back of a very active caravan site, mostly emplaced mobile homes and is now surrounded by barbed wire and lots of trees.
This Farmhouse has been boarded up as long as i can remember and iv lived in essex all my life i have no real history on the site as yet.
I decided to take neosea's advice(cheers mate) and actually ask someone who lives near by if they know anything about the building, although no real light was shed on the name or how long it had been abandoned or when it had been built, i did find out that as long is there is a caravan site the building must stay apparently the owner of the land wouldn't do it up to live in (shame).
The roof collapsed in the late eighties and was replaced around the same tmie the bottom windows were all bricked and cemented up :(, due to the roof collapse some of the internal floor is apparently knackered :(.

Anyway on to my pics.

Right hand side viewed over the fence and through the overgrown land.

I know its not that interesting sorry guys but i have a real soft spot for this place.
A revisit is on the cards and i was informed someone who works in the site office knows the history and may even have keys for access :)

Any comments most welcome

Good on you for getting out there and doing this. Will be nice to see inside the building if that guy has the keys. May be some nice bits and pieces inside that have been hidden away. (original fireplaces and aga's spring to mind when places are boarded up).

Looking forward to seeing any pics you may get from inside here.

Cheers,

:) Sal

Nice to se you first post up Weeto. Some good shots in there buddy. Hope you get the keys for the joint so we can see the inside. Well done.:)

...i have a real soft spot for this place...

That's what it's often about, imo, and I know exactly where you're coming from. :)
Good to see your first photos and write-up, Weeto. It's really interesting to see the side where some part of the building has been taken away, leaving the edges. Nice one. :)

Nice first report, and I love the mystery surrounding these places that have been part of our lives for so long!

There is a biggish house near me where it is abandoned and there is also a caravan site in the grounds. I think there is some kind of council law about caravans inhabiting sites. There is ALWAYS a house there of some sort.

Anyway, nice pics and fingers crossed one day you unlock this little back in time gem
