Whilst visiting the old Quarry workings a while ago I came across this old building, all boarded up and no way in, but the window shutters had holes in and a gap above the door allowed just enough space to stick my camera lens into, this is what I found:

/\ the holes in the shutter were just big enough to get the camera lens into

/\ This is what was behind the shutters, a big old winch \/

The window to the side, the gap above the door next to it was the same size as the one above the window, poking the camera in the gap and found what looks to be an old fireplace in the corner and some more machinery \/

Good call, taking shots through the gaps. Some nice stuff in there, WSMM. Love the metal shutters too. :)

Ye Gods...I have a keyboard with most of the letters missing and often get loads of typos. A good job I checked it before posting as I'd typed i instead of u in shutters!!!:mrgreen:

There's quite a few of those as you go up the hill. They're winding houses.
The lighter, empty trucks would be pulled up a track by heavier ones full of slate going down the hill on another track next to it.
