This Coastal Battery lies immediately to the west of Newhaven Fort, the BOP and radar buildings can be found along with two other emplacements at the fort and the battery was controlled from there. It is connected to the fort by an underground passage which I didn't know about until after I visited 
. The Battery is in excellent condition considering it is in public parkland. There are three Mk24 6in gun emplacements complete with magazines and generator buildings which are bricked up. Visited at the start of May.
