Well this isn't going to be a concrete overload this time as torrential rain stopped play today, I only managed to get a couple done (and Easington ROC post) before giving up and going home although I did check out another site on the way which I will post up when I've researched it a bit more. Right time for some pics me thinks...

The second pillbox was on Dawdon Blast Beach S0006662 Machine Gun Emplacement

the last pillbox is S0006673 s a circular/oval sandbag pillbox built onto the side of the railway embankment above Dawdon Blast beach. I nearly missed it as it is buried with only a few tell tale signs visible think you will agree the untrained eye would have missed it
