Default East Coast Defences Hollym To Easington (pic heavy)

After two trips finally managed to get this lot done

First up a swimmer with a blowhole S0013126 no internals for this one

A bit further south we spotted a loopholed wall / defended building The owner was happy enough for us to take pics from the gate but wouldnt let us have a closer look (thank you zoom lens)

Rich, the bulges under the large embrasures indicate they were for a VMG. Eared pillboxes have them too although I don't know what purpose they served.

Good work Rich. I was under the impression that the 'bulge' accommodated the container for the condensor tube on the Vickers. Don't know this for a fact though.

I'm interested to know if there were there 3 circular indentations in a triangle pattern on the ledge below the small embrasures of the lozenge S0013139 btw?

Looks like it might be the remains of a precast embrasure from a demolished pillbox.
