Some of you will remember my little epic of Pillboxes along the Thames [ame]http://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/showthread.php?t=8983[/ame] I've added a link for those who would like to see it. Well one of the many pillboxes was on an Island between Goring and Gatehampton Bridge. I took a few photos but it was hard to see and no doubt some did not believe it was there.
Well the other day while driving to the Kennet I noticed the Island had been cleared so tonight I popped back to have a look from the Thames path side and here it is.
Complete with ivy hat
I need to drop round to the house you see in the background and ask if I can go down to the bank to get some of the entrance.
