The entrance looked very dodgy so these photos where taken by using the self timer on my camera and lowering it into the hole on the neck strap:

when we visited this place, the farmer watched us from his car on the hill, but left us alone. and we stuck to the path, and not romp across his field of crops.

I was very carefull to follow the edge of the field untill i found some tractor tyre marks across to the grass at the base.

Nice pics mate, the control bunker is about 50 yards from the bunker in the pics above, wich housed the generator.

Would it be the other pile of slightly raised earth then? Id say it was about 50 yards away but whatever is there appeared to be completly coverd so i left it.

yes, the entrance down into it is on the west side and a little hard to find, I would be surprised if it were not accessable as the afrmer seemed to be keeping some bits in there when we last visited

There is still the ladder leading down into the shelter. I was lucky and managed to get into it. True it is possibly going to pee the farmer off if he caught you as it does contain a few items, though when i went in it contained fertiliser bags and odds and sods.

I might go back there when its not been raining so much and have another look. The biggest problem i had was parking, i think i was parked on the end of the farmers drive.

I parked up at the blocked access gate on the other side of the line of trees. That might still be fine. Have fun.

if you drive a just little further past the decoy site, on the right you will a few little cottages, with a country lane, park a bit further along there, and your cars out of site, and just walk back the 5 mins up the road.

Do you mean by the pub or the other way?

if you are coming from the waltham abbey end then the pub is on the left and row of cottages just after, decoy site is in field on the right.
