Location
East Devon's Jurassic Park!
Just been watching the Time Team special: Britain's Drowned World on TV, and on the beach at Happisburgh in Norfolk, where they were looking at mesolithic finds, there was a rather nice pillbox. :D
Something for any of the East Angular guys that may be interested, methinks.
Cheers
Foxy :)

I've been to Happisburgh (pronounced Haysbra locally) the coastline is rapidly being eaten away and only a small village now survives of a once bustling town, the model in the local museum shows the drastic coastal erosion. When I went there (about 10 years ago now) the graveyard was on the edge of the cliff and the beach had been closed off incase any graves collapsed.
Only caught the last 5 mins of the programme, anybody know if its going to be repeated?

Hi WSMM
Just checked the Radio Times, and there's no repeat scheduled on the digital channels, but they usually repeat the Time Team progs at some point, probably not for a while.
Thanks for the additional info on the place. It sounds like an interesting location.
Cheers

This reminds me of Dunwich, I got the chance to visit there last year.

I've been to Dunwich many a time too, including last summer actually. I think there's only one grave-stone left on the cliff edge now.
Very nice part of the world.
