Norfolk kq decoy bunker

This kq site is situated of a country lane just outside of fulmodeston..the field was used as a decoy airfield,to distract the German bombers from bombing the local airfield.the crew would shine the scarecrow torch from the top of the platform to imitate planes taking off,then when they caught the attention of the German bombers they would disappear under the bunker as the bombs fell.

Thank you kezz..I did the fulmodeston church a few months ago and the one at croxton,two beautiful churches about a mile apart,I thought about putting the photos on here..I also went to look for that nursery today what you done,but gave up in the end ha ha.but least I can look at your beautiful pics.
