I'll start with the four remaining defended aircraft dispersal pens although most of the shelters have caved in.The first one was a bit risky as there was nobody about to ask and a bloody great dog roaming around so I couldnt get any closer.

Oddly the one right next to the road is the best preserved of the four (anyone wondering about the difference in pics this was done over two trips :) )

Thank you for posting this, when I lived in South Yorkshire I remember passing here on a weekend outing, wished I had stopped and had a look around.
 
Lovely shots, been here a couple of times and never even knew about the e-pens !! Will have to go back now !! Should'ave done my homework last time !!! Whats with the fence around the watch office - that wasnt there the last time i visited !! Thanx for a top notch post !!
 
Very nice mate, i've been to the tower a few times but its always been far too grown over to see much else....

Fence was put up due to having a farmers market there its easily accessible still though :)
