Listed in the hedgerow behind this are 2 VMG boxes,we only found one (credit to Mark) but the other is more than likely still there just swamped by bushes and brambles.

Not too much surviving here and some bits are in a Gorse jungle

Did you get any snaps of the other VMG box at Salthouse beach?
The blown-up one facing east on Gramborough Hill.

No theres nothing left of it now unless we missed it lol

in that bramble patch in the middle distance

That east of the car park ?

yes - assuming the car park is back where it was and not on scattered on the road anymore :) it's in the crook of where the AT ditch meets the shingle - I think the place mark is bang on. there was a little step down into it - the door and one wall were OK IIRC and the embrasure wall was on the floor in pieces

Missed that side of the hill :( we were all nackered though and that was his last bit that day

shingle is very tiring and to be honest you missed nothing. it is one of ones in the worst condition whilst still being recognisable I've seen.

If I'd been there I'd have said don't bother

I'll have to dig out my photos of it in 1989-90, when it was bramble-free. :)
From the damage and the way the rebar was bent it looks just like it's been blown up from the inside, removing the roof entirely.
