We've not been out exploring much recently but have been lurking around and enjoying reading your explores instead. The rubbish weather is finally here which happens to be the time of year we can get out exploring. So to start off we thought we'd ease ourselves into a nice easy one...climbing down and then up the cliff tested my nerves a bit, I was sure I was going to fall down a hidden crack at any moment......!

The former Warden Point Battery was built between 1914-1916 (15 pounder gun battery). A temporary radar station "Chain Home Low Station" was built during WW2 and became permanent in 1942.

The erosion of the cliff leaves only some of the former Chain Home Low Station bunkers, which managed to slide down the cliff in one piece!

Going inside makes you feel like you are in a fairgrounds Crooked House, very strange!

Find it sad they ended on the beach they deserved better, one does wonder how long they will last before singing in the sand or being eroded by the sea. Nicely captured
