Back along the coast at Salthouse are several anti-tank blocks (and a very good pub)

Nice find mate, those Allan Williams turrets must be 1 of the worst ideas of ww2, don't think they'd offer much protection for the poor sod inside.

Never heard or seen of one these before, its certainly very different. There isn't many left at all according to Wikipedia as they were used for scrap metal after the war.

Wouldn't of liked to have been in one of the things, would have been a real sitting duck!

There are the remains of at least 3 at RAF Harrowbeer, alas all at ground level, not much to see but the best example can be seen by Udal's Tor (Ulster Rock)

There are two in Dorset.

At Worbarrow bay it is preserved, with and info sign. Another at Seacombe (not preserved but in better nick than the one at Worbarrow).

Also, last year, found one near Morfa Dinlle in North Wales.

There are a couple on the golf course at Crail in Fife. Apparently they've been repainted as "features"!
