Sad how this Has become from before the fires, really shamfull
This was a place me and Html tried back about 2012-15 can't remember exactly when. As the Convent was closed but they had a lot of security as the site had a caretaker and I.R cams so we just left it with the Church and site still party in use we felt it would have been inappropriate. Roll forward this was a solo trip like a fair number of others these days and i actually manage to get time to complete and edit a album of pictures :
The Oldest part of the site was built back in 1880 to 84 with the extension put in place 1890. Sadly the building has suffered some vandalism since its closure. Even so it has some lovely features still in place.
