We found this place whilst on a little drive to Halifax. After what looked like a little woodland trail, we worked out what was once a rail track, sidings and even a goods yard area.

Hi Tommo, and cheers for the house keeping. Not underground workings as such, but we found the dynamite holes.
I have since found out using a very grainy online map that there was a railway bridge and massive cuttings (we found the cutting and thought a possible mine but needed to check maps) but it has been back filled. I have ordered a map and will scan in the relevant page and show what we have worked out.

A repost pic, but I will explain what we found out.

As you look at this pic, the railings, siding and the cobbled area is to the left-hand side and straight ahead was where the bridge was.
