Ferry House - The old fishery

I would like to start off by saying, the level of disrespect we found on the ground floor was disgusting. Smashed plates, smashed lights and tags everywhere!! This is unacceptable!!

However, the place itself is beautiful and full of character! The gardens are large and beautiful watching all the creatures wandering around. The pond is huge and houses several species of fish still, frogs and little ducklings.

The house once seemed to be a beautiful place to live with all the old features still in place. The kitchen and pantry would of been luxury. The spacious master bedroom with the walk in wardrobe and en suit bathroom over looking the pond and garden! We went when the sun was out and it was like a picture !

We are planning on going back as there are several buildings around and behind the pond towards the back of the gardens we missed last time ! I hope you enjoy the pictures !

There is a lot of history on the house, on the internet and talking to neighbours. The history of this place is soo interesting and goes into a lot of detail!

The last occupant(s) most likely had severe breathing problems, judging by the two nebulisers/vaporisers.

This is unacceptable!!" - say what it is. For "the level of dispect" read " criminal destruction of other people's property"; and for "unacceptable" (yet again) read "outright vandalism".

I think the place has been visited so much it is no wonder the numpties have been in vandalising it. unfortunately there are a lot of kids around the area who's parents have never taught them any respect who are let loose and finding an empty place like this are only too mindless not to leave it alone. The owners are at fault for leaving it like it is for so long, locking the front gates is no deterent and letting the weeds grow like I have seen in the front of the place just shouts out for them to come in and smash it up. Interesting prospective to the photos if a few too many for my likeing you did get some good viewpoints
