Hi from Northern Ireland

Hi all another new member from Northern Ireland here.

Just found this site and looking forward to reading the posts etc.
Main interests are WW2 sites, military sites and airfields.
I come across many in my travels via work, sadly most of the military bases from the troubles are now long gone, although some old police stations are still there, abandoned and worth looking at.

Welcome to DP. Useful site for NI heritage is: http://maps.ehsni.gov.uk/MapViewer/Default.aspx though most of the defence ones are on Steves extended DoB overlay

Welcome there is a lot of stuff kicking about in the north and south mate. The guys across there are a nice bunch as well.

its a bit hard to post anything at the moment, work PC is so locked down I cant upload anything so will get some things up as soon as my own PC is working, have access to the Maze/Long Kesh so some photos/Reports will be uploaded soon, always a winner when you know the security teams.
