Found this by chance when visiting another place. And wha'd'yr'know ,an open ,(or rather non existan) back door.
Sooooo........
Its your typical vandalised, fire damaged, derp of a pub but nosying around its clear that something doesnt seem quite right...

The Jubilee inn was built in the 1840s in a gothic style. I imagine that most of its trade came from the miners at the adjacent Jubilee colliery . After finishing a long shift the pub must have been a warm inviting place situated directly opposite to the pit entrance.
Unfortunately in 1863 the pub found itself in the path of the growing railway. But rather than demolish it altogether, it was moved, brick, by brick to the opposite side of the road. Well. You cant deprive the miners of a pint or three.
That is why it didnt seem right. They never put in the cellar. I thought it odd that a pub this old didnt have one. Behind the bar was a panel that appeared to be a door at some time. Likely the cellar door.
The pub was extended and modified throughout the years and closed in 2011. Ten years of abuse since then has rendered the building useless. Listing was rejected, and various plans to build shoeboxes have been submitted and withdrawn. I did find out that it was sold in 2016 for around £1500!! As far as i know its still standing but i doubt it for much longer
