North Carr is Scotlands last remaining lightship.
She is located in Dundees Victoria dock, she is currently used for training by the Maritine volunteer service.
North Carr was built at A & J Inglis Pointhouse Shipyard on the Clyde.
She is 31 meters long & 8 meters wide, weighing 227 tonnes.
She as completed in 1932 and went on station near Fife Ness in 1933.
An automatic bouy replaced her and by 1976 she had becamea museum ship in Anstruther.
In 1994 she was moved to Dundee.
