Oakwell produced bricks in Ilkeston from 1874 & finally closed in 1966, I wont go into the history more as its been covered many times & this site gives it in excellent detail.

The next thing that an internet search brings up is the planning applications & delays to this due to ground contamination & local opposition due to this now being a nature habitat.
It looks like this place will be slowly falling in on itself for a fair while yet

From the outside the building is certainly being reclaimed

You've missed the tunnel off to the side. There's a plaque that says about derelictplaces.co.uk
