An oppurtunist attempt here as I was out and about and not even supposed to be Urbexing, Mrs Spacepunk sighed in resignation and said 'go for it, but don't be long', so it was only a quick 5 min explore as there wasn't much to see anyway.

This door had a 20 foot drop hidden on the other side.

That's the Newport Hotel which is still open AFAIK.

Its an old pinkish building just opposite the boat yard/pier.

Didn't realise it was an ex-sailing club now! The building opposite was the old ferry terminal, which I've always fancied a look around – several parts are sealed up, and may be timewarps …
