Hey all,

so I say old but new member as I use to Urban Explore a fair few years back and upload to UrbexWithCallum on youtube, Even had what I feel as a ghost encounter, at the old red house pub, which has now sadly been knocked down, but stopped due to life and then never really thought of coming back since having my daughter and soon to be baby boy with my wife, as I feel Urbex alone can be seriously dangerous, but since I have 2.1 million on tiktok ( @CallumAFK) for staying at home putting bubbles on my damn head, I think it would be awesome to mix in some urbex content again and bring back my old channel at the same time and get back out there, but would love to join some Urban teams in the area and also help grow each others content :) I am a HUGE fan of Exploring with Josh and the ghost hunting series he has! if anyone is local would be awesome to hear your stories and connect :D

Welcome along Callum. I do paranormal investigating myself but the feeling on this forum is a bit negative as comments quoted using the words Bah!, Humbug and Poppycock. So I keep my views to myself. I've watched Exploring With Josh but I find that he is more into exploring than investigating the paranormal, and he acts like a kid, sometimes. Sam & Colby are similar. My favourites are Mackie and Amanda and Amy's Crypt.

Amy's husband Jarrad has created mobile phone apps to help investigating the the paranornal on the GooglePlay. My personal favourite is the SLS Camera as I can point the camera to the screen whenever I'm viewing posts.

the feeling on all exploring forums is negative.
The thing is u see its a urban exploring forum not a ghost hunting forum!
I wouldnt say I dont believe but in 10yr exploring well over 1k places I have never had a paranormal experience apart from the small from my mates shit which I simply cant explain!
We are interested in abandoned places & the history of them & the thrill of exploring them & the decent documenting of them.
Ghost hunters tend to just use our sites as an easy way to find places, surely there is dedicated ghost hunting forums? I know there is plenty of ghost hunts run in the uk.

Oh a side note the likes of exploring with josh is a fkin plague on the exploring community!
TBH you lost me when you said about making you tube vids, dont get me wrong tehre are a few out there who do a good job (BTW for example)

I can understand that, this is derelict places after all, but I am not a ghost hunter in any shape or form, I too love documenting the history of the places before some bald tit with a clipboard comes planning a multi story block of flats, I find being inside somewhere that once was alive and thriving to now be some what stuck or left in the past, there is no other feeling like it, walking through finding papers from 1800s etc, but I wouldn't have ever started if it wasn't for Exploring with Josh (His original content that really started his channel) as I loved that story telling of the places and to see that derelict buildings was actually a thing and not something you just see in movies, but I fully agree, A LOT of youtube content has tarnished the Urbex scene, all the fake crap (Found dead body inside) etc I am more for the real content, the exploring of a place that is forgotten showing each detail into how the person lived or what happened to them and the family, thats the content I strive towards for sure!
