Hi All
Day 14

This was the last port of call on our 2 week french rampage of forts, bunkers and McDonald's this is Ouvrage la Laufee a very small fort of only 1 rampart,
casemate and turret, the Ouvrage or works was built in 1890 it was further up graded in 1904 this was when added concrete was added along with the
75mm artillery turret then In 1913 a counterscape gun casemate was added then in 1918 the fun tunnels were added.

The 1918 tunnels under this place are mostly concrete lined with some iffy wooden roof props (Which are now on the floor)

The fort took an almighty kicking in WW1 by Zee Germans, it was later rebuilt in the 20`s-30`s then once again got hit by Zee Germans in 1941.

Right lets get down and dirt in the dark - pictures

The other side of the wall is a big f*** off drop.
