Thank you, had a great time, not only on the evening, but also managed to squeeze in two explores as well as some street photography.

Nice to meet everyone. Special thanks also to The Wombat who escorted me back through Bristol, with both of us stumbling around in a slightly drunken stupor. The funny thing was, neither of us really quite knew where we were going! :-D

All in all a great weekend.

Haha, was pretty smashed by the end of the night, but had been drinking for 8 hours

Glad you made it to your hotel alright :)
I ate some questionable fast food, and eventually found my hotel, but not sure how I managed it!

Ace night! Thanks for organising it, Krela! We were bowled over by how friendly and welcoming everyone was!

Somehow we ended up at a sticky carpet club afterwards and all ended up very pickled (jugs of strange green cocktail Konrad kept forcing us to drink)! Also squeezed in another splore thisafternoon ;)

Here's to the next one! :)

That club was just nasty, you know its going to be a questionable establishment when they let me in wearing muddy cargos and disgusting old trainers!
The explore today was hard work but worth it.

A massive thank you to everyone who came to the meetup today. I'm humbled and a little overwhelmed by the love and gratitude people have shown me today. I had no idea the community and the way I run it meant so much to people. Wow. You're a kind bunch and it was a pleasure to meet you all. I hope it was worth travelling for.

I'm delighted the folk showed their appreciation for you and the efforts you make to keep the site going, and I would like to add my thanks on behalf of us armchair explorers as well, If you find you need counselling after your howering experience, put me down for a donation towards you're recovery programme, Stay Safe

Haha! :D Our's was rather basic, but relatively clean and dry! More than good enough to pass out in at 3am!

That's good to hear - apart from the questionable food of course! I was a bit worried that you might still be wandering around Bristol at 4am! :)

Lol, not to shabby!

This was generally the state mine. Check out that derpage!

I assumed I'd drank enough wine to alter gravity, but no the bed was on the tilt by an amazing 8 degrees!!
That makes my Travelodge room look like a palace! In actual fact, I was actually very impressed with my accommodation. Although you could probably be put in any Travelodge in anywhere in the world and they'd all look exactly the same (and with all the charm of a breeze block), my room was a reasonable size, spotlessly clean, warm, with a very hot shower and a very comfortable bed with crisp white linen. Oh, and extremely quiet too. Although I woke quite early, nobody was moving around until about 9am. Bliss. :D

Guys -and girls- !! What can i say except what a great time was had !! Thoroughly enjoyed it, had a laugh and made some new friends !! Was great to put a face to a fair few names. Didnt really know what to expect, and was half thinking (hoping) maybe it would be me, Newage, Krela and twenty 16 yr old female novice explorers. BUT NO !!! you buggers turned up instead !! After saying all night that we were gonna leave early in order to catch the train before the last departure from BTM, we left with 40mins to spare to catch the final train and got TOTALLY lost (a mixture of booze n chatting). After walking in the wrong direction for ten mins we realized our mistake turned round and done a thirty minute walk in ten mins !! Not sure if it was down to a worm hole in time or just the fact that we didnt wanna sleep on the streets of Brizzle till mid morning Sunday !! Mrs Fluffy says she can never understand how we can find a small hole in a field fifty miles from civilization and crawl into it, yet we cant find the nearest railway station - oh well !!
Hopefully we will meet up with some of you guys again fairly soon and the rest of you at the next bash !!
Ps Many, many thanx to Krela for organizing this, and to Urban X for his all important sticky name badges from the internet !! Cant wait for the next one. !!
