I don't know if anyone has noticed but photobucket have reduced their photo hosting accounts for personal use to $99.99/year which includes unlimited forum usage. Still not great but better than the $399.99 it started out at.

I must admit I'd be tempted if it was a one-off payment, because of the work involved to get my photos up from elsewhere is far too daunting. I'm not prepared to find that amount annually, though.

Would be interesting to know if they had any notion of a business plan before they introduced the changes … I'll bet if they'd made hosting a nominal £10 or perhaps £20 per year, they would have made much more money than they're making now with either $399 or $99 per year.

Sadly, its still scandalous..... sigh.

I did pay for the 2 year plan with photobucket as I couldn't be bothered with transfering all my albums. I did get recommended "Pixelsbin.com" which you can upload pics up to 15MB in size. I started uploading my albums and it is easy to share pics and albums in the same way as photobucket did.
