I wanted to do his explore before the place got pulled down, there wasnt much to see as the workmen had been in and some buildings were gone.
Here is some history about the place

Dunston Hill Primary School welcomed its first pupils in December 1910,
It's 110 years since Dunston Hill Council School (as it was called) welcomed its first pupils. The opening ceremony was performed on December 7, 1910 by Mr R Winship Esq.

Built in the typical red brick of the era with a Welsh slate roof, the school was designed by the Sunderland architect Joseph Potts & Son. The building at that time stood in open County Durham countryside.

In 1910, Britain had a new king, George V; across the River Tyne, thousands of jubilant Newcastle United fans celebrated after the club lifted its first FA Cup; and down at the coast in Whitley Bay, a new pleasure gardens called Spanish City opened its doors.

It was a time when Dunston with its recently built coal staiths and its thriving factories was an important cog in the powerhouse of industrial Tyneside.
When on December 7, 1970, the school marked its 60th birthday, a huge cake was baked from which each of the 475 pupils received a slice.
