I was on the island ‘ and iv know about the rifle range for years just never borthed with it , the place is pretty open and public and always used by locals

but as from 2020 the future of the range remains unclear and also due to be possible demolished


it recently had a massive fence pit round it but local are still going inside there


History Wartime relic faces demolition

The firing range dates back to at least 1906. But the first mention of the 'covered way' was in 1911
