This is one of three derelict churches with in a short range of each other. We had done another one earlier and thought we would give this a look. I had been thwarted by this four years before hand, so was nice to finally see it. Visited with two friends on a cold crispy morning.
The church was rebuilt in in the mid 1800s and fully restored in 1913. The original church was built in around the medieval times. Their are 50 carved medieval faces in the steeple tower. The church is listed at grade two.

Excellent report on the old church a shame it has been left abandoned like that. Wonder the Church Conservation Trust of Friends of Friendless Churches has not taken it it. Mind you from the look of those cracks by the chancel arch it needs some work
