Had an unexpected visit to the ruins at west Somerton this afternoon in north east Norfolk, had seen various shots of this location on flickr so was nice to see it with my own eyes. Walking around the ruins it soon became apparent how difficult it is to get good shots of such places, tree canopy made the interior quite dark while the occasional shaft of light made exposure quite difficult as most of my shots were either over or under exposed, could also have done with a wider angle lense than what my 36-108mm compact will allow!!

Would be interested to hear how the proper photographers on here would approach such lightings conditions as regards to settings, ISO and exposure etc..
