[Romford Reject]

Opened in 1908 this served the town until 1988 and in 1992 was made a listed building. The town bought it in 2007 and are still looking for an investor.

Have to agree with Urbanx the brick work and detail is amazing it's a great shame to see building like that just been left instead of being put to some use.

The steps actually come out onto the platform opposite, which is actually the modern station still in use

It really is a crying shame. But the town has got no money. I´m afraid some day it´ll be pulled down. The roof is leaking since several years.
Plants are growing inside and the ceilings are rotten. But there are a lot of stations in Germany looking like this. A real "eldorado" for urbexers.
