This place has recently been covered by two other members so I’ll spare you any details.

The explore: It was a gloomy day as I met a non member who’s also a non explorer here. After a lousy year in so many ways, this was a real treat. The mill is small but such a lovely explore.

On to the house... Getting in was no problem or so I thought as my boot slipped on the draining board and my caboose came crashing down on a rather glorious array of shards of glass still sticking out of the window frame. After my friend stopped howling with laughter the only thing hurt was my pride. I could not believe my luck at a house that remained untouched and not ruined by metal thieves or those nasty people who like to smash places up. Peeling wallpaper, cracking paint and that strange retro 70’s kitchen! As I’m setting up a shot in the lounge my friend points up. I see, the first floor is falling into the lounge directly above where I’m standing (but there’s a support holding it all up so that’s ok). Later I would do the walk of death on said saggy floor to get a shot of the bathroom because ya know, it needed to be done.

As I’m moving about the place exploring rooms, my friend bolts in practically hysterical, “there are motion sensors in here and we’re setting them off!” Followed shortly by “there’s a man outside!” A very good rule is to never take a non explorer exploring. No alarms were set off so I wasn’t worried. The fisherman outside (and I use the term loosely) continued to change his position on the river bank depending on where we were in the house.

We left everything as we found it and quickly retreated. Honestly, I expected to get shouted at as we left the property but the “fisherman” followed us back to our cars. He got in his oversized American Dodge Ram and drove off without incident.

So boys and girls, do not go into the house, the sensors work and I’m pretty sure the rusty cctv camera on the exterior barn/garage works as well. The locals are watching it quite closely and rightfully so, it’s a gem.

On with the pics and thanks for looking.

What an awesome find. If it was fixed up I would love to live there. Love the kitchen (cleaned of course) and the fireplace. My kitchen is that 40's green. Love it.
I would too tbh but the state of the first floor means it will soon be in the lounge. Was definitely a nice find 🙂

Went to the Three Bridges mill a few days back with my girl. Got a photo of the mill stream but then the owner saw us. (Woops!) He wasn’t very friendly. Said Trespasser will be prosecuted, and would call the police. Scarpered quickly back to my van parked in a lay-by. Don’t think he clocked the plates. I thought it was supposed to be derelict ?!? Visit turned out to be a bit of a waste of a journey from M. K.

It's being referbished and watched very closely by the locals. The house is rigged with motion sensors

Fantastic photos FM, really top notch, some of the best I've seen from here!
I'm just about to post my report of this place. Weird there's been so much trouble there recently...

When I went, there was some noticable differences, largely, the kettle! The kitchen has been deep cleaned, and all of the interior doors had been locked, so we only had access to the kitchen!
However, I saw no sign of sensors, cameras or people and myself, my girlfriend and her 10 year old son had a lovely 2 hours mooching round here, unhindered.

There's obviously someone keeping an eye on it though, but I'm not sure we know the full story here..

Still, great report.

Why thank you so much fluffy! I do believe they are renovating it, probably why the doors are all locked. Also the ceiling in the main lounge was due to collapse making it quite a perilous place to be. The sensors are in the corners of the rooms and were definitely working when we got there. It’s a beautiful little place
