The Boucher Building in Kidderminster is one of several Victorian administration frontages which used to be joined at the rear to a carpet & textile factory. From one of the external shots below you can see where the factories at the rear have been demolished. The frontage remains but only as a locally listed property & is owned by Morrisons who built their supermarket where the factory units once stood. In the same external photo, the area with the excavators & fencing is now the shiny new supermarket car park.
The building is currently to let & has no graffiti or vandalism inside, hence it was ensured it was re-secured as soon as possible after the visit to keep the chav scum and cable thieves out!
Kidderminster is in line for major redevelopment, so whether this building (and the one next door that had no access) survive remains to be seen..

The three external photos are from early 2011, whereas the internals are more recent.

Nice, reminds me of a lot of old places around here that are now long gone. Shame the bits at the back had already gone.

hence it was ensured it was re-secured as soon as possible after the visit to keep the chav scum and cable thieves out!

I have mixed feelings about this kind of thing. None of us want places to get smashed up, but I don't like the idea of people getting their pics then getting places sealed up.

Nice one! Some lovely photos too.
I walked past here loads about a decade ago, before I found out what urbex was :arghh:
