My year so far

[Down and beyond]

So I have decided to choose a few images really that sums my year up so far ! I no there are some mine explorer people on here some more experienced than others and I no there are some greenies also !

These are in some beautiful iron mines and lead mines also a stone mine photo in there ! Not that I enjoy stone it’s much to flat and boring . Even dropped in an image of a couple of digs we have done with some rewards ! I no @BikinGlynn loves coming out to play so he will soon Cherp in on these images .

Some of you will of read the boring torch reviews “nothing worse than torch chat”
But ye this will show you the torches do not get an easy life !!

Regards to the history the lead mines was worked from around 1860-1960 broadly speaking. the iron mines was around a similar starting period till the end of ww2 the stone mines I can’t remember that was a one of visit place.

Hope ya all enjoy a very small peace of my year .

He is a fine chap isn’t he !

Ye that’s the passage after the dig site , is good fun walking in for 90 minutes down a few srt pitches carrying all them tools to actually start digging !! You stop start eating your lunch and I always think. This is some mad shit !

We do a lot in a year like yourself and the true scale of it including the effort involved with all the failures, you just can’t write about it easily !

Awesome. I have been caving years ago on an Outward Bound course and I used to scuba dive and your nigh on doing that. I'll stick to looking at your photos.
BTW I use my phone when I go to the churches I visit as well as my DSLM

I still take close ups on phone or as above a lot of underground stuff u just cant take camera in!
