Lovely old hospital, closed 2018 and still in very good nick, currently in the process of being cleared out ready for conversion to homes. This was a Quaker hospital, the ethos was to provide an alternative to the oppressive nature of institutional asylum practices. We shared our explore with the peacock and a multitude of rabbits running about in the grounds

The glass awning to protect those sitting outdoors looks very attractive. Fashioned around the bay windows, it gets away from being just a straight line. And the roof has style.
