This lovely little cottage, that sits in fields in the middle nowhere, was once a bustling riding school and livery yard. The cottage is now falling apart , the roof coming away and the floors falling through. The house was a happy family home for many years, the owners big horse lovers , who bought and bred competition horses. They did very well coming first/2nd at most events. Sadly 2 family passed away, the lady lived there with home care until she was too unwell, and moved to a care home. Hence the home falling into disrepair. Such a shame alot of the personal belongings have been ruined, but by the elements, not mindless humans. A long drive out today for this explore, but pleased we did. Quite dark in places, so pics not the best . The wind was howling through the broken windows, banging doors, and wallpaper was blowing down the stairs, hanging on by a thread. On edge? Just a tad!

Good write up. I found the album The Nigel Brooks Singers on Amazon but only one left and it's on Vinyl or MP3.

A shame that the house is going derelict, it could be made into a holiday let.
Since I worked with horses for some years, I feel it sad that the place is now derelict. That bridle
hanging up without a bit is just asking for a bit of saddle soap to stop the leather from becoming brittle and cracking.
