After Simons Mill, High Tower (HT) and myself headed north to meet up with our hosts Barry & Jan for the rest of the day, they are old hands when it comes to Denbigh and they had offered to show us around.
First stop when we got in was the church as even Barry has been there a few times, he's always missed this, he also had planed to climb the silos, but not being that keen on heights I left him and HT (He took my spare camera up with him and got some great photos of the place) to do that while I just wondered off on my own. We bumped into each other now and again (And a couple of young girls and a boy) over the next 4 hours or so. We still missed a couple of buildings but the light had started to go and it was a 3 hour plus journey back home for us.
After 14 hours out of the house and over a 350+ round trip I got home knackered but happy with the day thanks to Barry & Jen, also HT for his company and driving for the day.
(One thing I did notice was the lack of street art/graffiti, only a few tags, there not any good artists up N Wales??)

I wouldn't have wanted to live there when it was open, but the buildings look stunning from above.
