I have been here a lot shooting models and I have had security there at 7am on a Sunday morning and 2 in the afternoon. It is potluck but you can usually wait them out.

Self plug - a lot of these are at Fullers DerelictHeart
That's quite interesting to know. I'd heard rumours that security were back but I went the other week and could hear kids banging about there, so assumed it wasn't the case.

    Had any encounters with them?

Weird that security bother to do anything here. Back when I did it between 2009 and 2011 there wasn't any security at all and the place was practically mint compared to how it stands now, but I guess its kind of like other places that are only protected or watched over after the proverbial horse has bolted...

Mr Big Bollocks with his noisy dog is back on the go. I took my friends 18yr old daughter and her boyfriend there recently. Showed them about and the sketchy bits etc. and they went back and got chased off. That said, I text Gromr123 about it and he went for a look and no secca. But then again my first time years ago Mr Duty Calls turned up on a check out routine and took one look and myself and H and the looked at the tripod in my hand and hung about until we fucked off.

It is a private security company in white vans VPS I think it is called. They do have a routine on arriving but no time schedule. I was really surprised to see them there so early on a Sunday morning.

I have been up inside when they arrived but they just drove around the outside and parked up a bit.

They do keep attempting to secure the place, hoarding and heras fencing but it doesn't last more than a day.

Fullers is a tricky one for me, I'm a (don't laugh) H&S consultant and the place is so dangerous now but it makes such great images!

Iv done a NEBOSH myself, but have been in steel erecting & supply for 25yr so in terms of the structure know whats safe & whats not.
Like everything its safe enough if u r careful, but as initially said I cant believe how easy it is for kids etc to wander in who really wouldn't have a clue!

I was literally there yesterday for the third time and it changes so much every time (for the worse) - more missing pannels

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
